For the impartial classification of electrotechnical products worldwide we use ETIM, the Electrotechnical Information Model. ETIM is now established as the standard model for the electrotechnical industry and readily complements existing systems. It takes care of the uniform flow of information, consisting of classified product data, from the manufacturer to the customer.
ETIM accelerates data sharing, makes information available regardless of the manufacturer,
describes products irrespective of the media and language, and facilitates fast and user-friendly product searches.
Based on ETIM and alternative classification structures, we rely on proven tools, including:
PIM – eAdmin-suite:
Central product administration with a link to ERP; tool set for data import and export as well as reporting
PIM – KatServer:
Web-based, highly automated production of printed catalogues (PDF) with an interface to flip books
High-speed search engines for the Web and desktop, including optional integration in ERP/office systems
B2B Web shop and eProcurement system, multilingual and with catalogue and supplier capabilities
