For the impartial classification of electrotechnical products worldwide we use ETIM, the Electrotechnical Information Model. ETIM is now established as the standard model for the electrotechnical industry and readily complements existing systems. It takes care of the uniform flow of information, consisting of classified product data, from the manufacturer to the customer.
ETIM accelerates data sharing, makes information available regardless of the manufacturer,
describes products irrespective of the media and language, and facilitates fast and user-friendly product searches.
